This post has nothing to do with streetwear or fashion, but I invite you follow my footsteps to see where I have been to last week. 

What is the number one fear of people? Death?  Sky diving? Or bungee jumping? Actually the number one fear is public speaking. Do you want to overcome your fear of public speaking? Have you wished to give a funny or heartfelt toast at your best friend's wedding? Toastmasters can help you step out of your comfort zone and learn to become a better speaker and leader. I know because I joined in 2007 to this day. Last week August 12th - 15th I attended the 78th Toastmasters International Convention took place at MGM Grand at Foxwoods, CT.  Ten best speakers came from all over the world to compete for the World Championship of Public Speaking on August 15th, 2009

Watching these phenomenal speakers was a tremendous learning experience. This was my first International Convention and I left the room inspired. Will be back for next one in Palm Desert in 2010.

I am now with Helmsmen Toastmasters Club 770 in Huntington Beach, California. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at Carrow’s Restaurant 16931 Magnolia, Huntington Beach 92647. This coming Tuesday will be a special meeting - Humorous and Evaluation speech contest. Come join us for an educational and entertaining evening next Tuesday August 25th 7PM if you are in the area.
