Volcom: Japan Recovery Tour

During mid September of few months ago, Volcom US Skate Team collaborated with Volcom Japan Team to perform the Japan Recovery Tour.  Right after the US Team arrives at the airport, they met up with the Japan Team and headed straight to Sendai to meet up with the government offical.  The aim for the visit is to deliver the 2,500,000 Japanese Yen (approximately 32,000 USD) to Miyagi prefecture.  The donation was collected through the Volcom National charity T-shirt Sale, which totaled to almost 100,000 USD.  The sum is then trisected and distributed to Miyagi, Fukushima, and Iwate where the damages were severe.   Along with the donation, the Skate Tour started.

US Team: Chima Ferguson, Collin Provost, Jake Duncombe, Aaron Suski

JP Team: Hiroyuki Matsuo, Buchi, Wataru Ganeko, Shota Kikuchi.

Mid September was still humid and hot in Tokyo.  Jake cooling Aaron off.
